The vision for Oakland Elementary is to provide a safe, supportive environment where everyone is invited and encouraged to participate in learning. This environment promotes positive attributes, enhances creativity, and supports all students’ needs by valuing each individual and his/her uniqueness.
Beliefs
We believe All students are unique and have value. School should be safe and inviting. All students can learn. Schools should be student-centered. Students should be encouraged to become life-long learners. Education is a joint venture between family, school, and community. Education should teach the whole child (physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally). Education should prepare students for an ever-changing society .
