Inclement Weather

When winter weather is at its worst; our schedule has to be changed accordingly for the safety of our students. The school's district policy is that the superintendent will make a decision and inform the media.

Listen to 103.3FM on your radio, which is the "Bill Drake Morning Show".  The superintendent will inform him between the hours of 6-6:15 as to his decision.  You may also tune to WSPA (Local Channel 7, Spartanburg).

When school opening is delayed for two hours, teachers are to report to work by or before 9:00 AM.  If there is a one-hour delay, teachers should arrive by 8:00 AM.

As always, however, employees should use their own judgment in assessing their particular situations.  We do not want individuals to put themselves at risk by trying to travel in hazardous conditions.

Also, 4K and Pre-K Special Education morning classes do not meet if school is delayed.
