    Video games are now a part of modern civilized society. Practically everyone we know has played a video game or at least has heard of one. The most popular ones are Call of Duty and Halo, but those are not the only ones out there!
The three main categories of video games are:

• Strategy
     

StarCraft: The most played Real-Time Strategy game in the world.	The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: One of the most popular role-playing games to date.	Call of Duty Modern Warefare 3: The entire Call of Duty series are the most played and bought video games in history.

    Most people only know or play video games that are in the shooter genre. These are the most played and most popular because they are simple to play and full of constant action. This is not a bad thing at all. Different genres suit different people. A shooter may not be for you. But what exactly is the difference between these genres, and what games should you try out?
