Family Writing Project

Boiling Springs High School, in cooperation with the Spartanburg Writing Project and the National Family Writing Project,, is starting a new community-oriented writing program this year called Family Write Nights. 

Who can participate?  Any interested students and their family members.

Meeting Times:  Thursday, February 11th, Tuesday, March 9th, (this will be the last night) from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Media Center.  

What will we write?  Our theme for the year will center around the idea of home and all that word entails. 

Suitable creative writing or other work might include a personal memoir, poetry about a favorite place, short fiction or non-fiction,

prose, or a tribute to an admired relative.

What’s in it for me?  Refreshments, the chance to have a fun time among new-found friends and the chance to be published!
