Text Box:      Additional Help and Fun!!
Make a letter bank.  Take an empty shoe or baby-wipe box.  Cut out letters from magazines, newspapers, and other printed material.  Glue the letters on the top of the box to decorate it.  Take an index card and write the capital and the lower case Ff on it.  Have your child find pictures of items that begin with this letter and glue them on the card.  If your child’s name or a friend’s name begin with “F” write it on another card and add it to the box.  If you have time this week go back and add the letters “L”.  If time is short this week make it a weekend project.  What a wonderful way to reinforce your child’s learning.  Have fun helping your child learn.  As the year goes on this will develop into a word bank that your child can use for independent writing.

Text Box: THANK YOU!!!!!!     A big thank you to all that have sent in extra cups, tissues, lemons, and cleaning products.  It does take us all working together to keep our children healthy and give them a great education.

Text Box: The first family project is due Wednesday, September 1st.  We would like all students to have one on display for Open House.
