On November 11, 2011, veterans enjoyed a breakfast provided by CHS Student Council. VFW Voice of Democracy winner, Amanda Blackwell, shared her essay during the assembly.  Sergeant Adam Dobson shared his military experiences with students, faculty, community, and veterans.
