Title I Information
| Title I funding is instrumental in educating all children at Chesnee Elementary School. Our school has many programs supported by Title I. Some of these programs are the Accelerated Reading Program, 100 Book Challenge, Instructional Coaches, the Computer Program, Family Nights, and after school tutoring, "Overtime". The Title I funds also support continuing staff training, parent educational programs, phonics programs, Write From the Beginning, Thinking Maps, and extensive classroom libraries. In the regulations of the Title I program, parents have the right to give feedback regarding how the funds are allocated. Annually, we send a parent survey home in the spring. The planning survey allows parents to provide suggestions related to the existing programs and/or other educational programs. Comments and questions are welcomed.
