• Students' learning and needs are the chief priority and primary focus of     our school.

• Students are provided with a variety of instructional approaches and     are given opportunity to apply their learning in meaningful, authentic  contexts.

• Challenging experiences and active involvement increase individual student performance.

• Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school's mission.

• Our school promotes opportunities for school, community, and administration to work together as a community of learners.

• The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative to enable all students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.

• Our safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.

• The development of curriculum and assessments incorporates a variety of learning styles to demonstrate high expectations for learning.

• Cultural diversity can increase students' understanding of different peoples and cultures.
