PowerSchool New Parent/Guardian Portal (login page)

 

 

 

 

 

Parent/Guardians will need to go to http://pschool.spartanburg2.k12.sc.us/guardian and create a new account.  You must first type your Powerschool Parent ID in as your User Name, then type in your Powerschool Parent Password. Remember to use the upper and lower case letters and numbers as they appear on your Powerschool letter from the school.  DO NOT HIT SUBMIT – HIT CREATE ACCOUNT – screen below will appear.

 

 

 

 

Fill in the required information with your First Name, Last Name, and Email address. 

 

You will then  create a username and password of your choice.  The “Desired User Name” is the user name that you want to sign into Powerschool with.  Then set your own password.  Remember your password must be 6 characters, and you need to use both number and letters and both Upper and lower case letters (i.e. Kim1234).

Link your child/children in Spartanburg District 2 schools to your account by typing in your student(s)’ first name and last name (as it appears on their birth certificate – i.e. James Jones – not Jimmy Jones if that is what he is called).  The Access ID is the powerschool Parent ID and the Access Password is the powerschool Parent Password that you were given by your child’s school. Choose your relationship to the child. Remember you can add any of your students in District 2 Schools.  Then hit ENTER.

You should get the “Congratulations Screen”.  You will then enter the user name and password that you have just created.
